Hawaiian Convention Center:

The Hawaii Convention Center is a state of the art meeting and convention facility. Built by PCL and Nordic Construction, joint venture, for the State of Hawaii at a cost of $200 million.

Our work included setting over 800 wood and hollow metal doors in hollow metal door frames complete with specialized fire and security hardware. The VIP meeting rooms were finished with Hawaiian koa wainscot, base, chair rail and ceiling trim.

All other meeting rooms have African mahogany chair rail, base and ceiling trim. over 54,000 lineal feet of standing and running trim , and over 5,000 square feet of paneling  was installed by Bruce Matson Company carpenters.

Service corridors were lined with 8,200 lineal feet of 2x6 crash rail, and nearly 200 corner guards. We also installed approximately 700 individual toilet accessories in the many public restroom facilities.
